We are a small local team, which means the people discussing your kitchen are closely connected to the work itself. Daniel, Sophie and Callum bring different strengths to each project while working from the same practical approach.
Daniel founded Kitchen Makeover Milton Keynes after years of working on kitchen and interior projects around Buckinghamshire. He is particularly interested in finding ways to retain sound parts of a kitchen instead of replacing them unnecessarily, and outside work he spends many weekends walking sections of the Grand Union Canal with his spaniel.
Sophie keeps projects organised from the early conversations through to the practical details that need coordinating before work begins. She grew up near Newport Pagnell and has a particular eye for colour combinations and finishing details, a skill she also puts to use restoring second-hand furniture at home.
Callum focuses on fitting, adjustments and the details that help new and existing kitchen elements sit comfortably together. He lives locally in the Milton Keynes area and is a keen amateur cyclist, regularly using the redways for early morning rides before the working day.
We start by understanding what is actually wrong with the current kitchen. That might be appearance, wear, storage, layout or a combination of several things. Once the priorities are clear, we can work out which existing elements remain useful and which changes will make the greatest difference.
Because we are a small team, communication stays straightforward. Daniel oversees the project direction, Sophie helps keep the details organised and Callum brings the fitting plan into the room itself. We aim to make decisions understandable and keep the agreed scope at the centre of the work.
